Meet the Chef

Growing up on a farm in the Northwest, Jen has always had a love of food and simple, fresh, local ingredients. Determined to share that passion with others, she earned her associate’s degree in culinary arts from Le Cordon Bleu. By 2013, Jen was left stressed out and feeling unbalanced. After 15 years of restaurant life and living the “work hard, play hard” mentality that came with it, neglecting her diet and fitness goals, she knew something needed to shift. By re-focusing her energy on making diet and fitness priorities, she began taking her food knowledge and turned to meal prepping for herself. When friends began asking how they could eat better too, the idea for Fresh Phoenix was born.
